Our Exhibits

The exhibits on display in The Cheasapeake Beach Railway Museum depict the thriving history and life of the railway and the amusement park.  The museum offers 3D objects and artifacts, both original and best representations of the era.  We bring the railway and amusement park to life with displays, postcards, oral histories and memorabilia.  The exhibits range from rail ties to a Dentzel kangaroo from the park and authentic period bathing suits.  The pictorial displays along with our diorama showing the landscape as it was, are wonderful visuals for our guests to enjoy, along with a DVD presentation of the park and railway.  As you visit, you will not only experience the last remaining rail depot of the Chesapeake Beach Railway on its original site, you will also be able to experience the last known passenger railcar of the railway, The Dolores, located in the back of the museum.

We are happy to display special loan items as we receive them.

Watch for news of special exhibits for the summer.
